Cranes of the Fifth Season
“A scholar saw her once on the Bell Tower stairs,
wrapped in cranes and falling leaves —
they say she wrote love letters that turned to feathers in the wind.”
Cranes of the Fifth Season is a corset made from time and ritual. Pieced together from two antique obi and a single silk kimono, she carries the wild grace of cranes in flight and chrysanthemums in bloom. Deep greens, bronze-golds, and pale ivory silk converge into a silhouette that feels both ancient and reborn — like a secret kept beneath rice paper and dusk.
There are those in the Crooked City who still wait for her — in teahouses where the windows don’t quite close, where stories return with the steam.
SIZE
She’s most at home on bodies sized S to a small M.

PRICE
This corset was constructed from two antique obi and one kimono — all silk, all storied. The fabric placement required careful composition to honour the crane and chrysanthemum motifs. Her price reflects the rarity of her materials, the care of integration, and the strength of what she now holds.
