"The tide once took her from the shore,
but she returned — more than before.
With dusk in thread and salt in bloom,
she stitched her name into the gloom."

Saltflower is a bridal hush with a weathered soul — made from silk marked not by time’s cruelty, but by its character. The base fabric carries natural mottling: a quiet testament to the years it has lived. Rather than hiding its age, this piece wears it like scripture — its soft, sepia undertones deepened by deliberate placement and a hand-dyed tea bath that brought the antique lace into harmony.

The ivory tassels that dance along the seams were made from silk thread salvaged from cuttings. The beads stitched above them are shell — sea-born, subtle, and tender to the light.

She belongs to the Crooked City’s Seamstress’ Attic, where the forgotten becomes ceremonial, and beauty never has to choose between softness and rust.

PRICE

This piece carries not only hours of delicate construction, but the choice to honour age instead of erasing it. The mottled silk, salvaged string, and hand-dyed lace are all remnants turned relic — brought together with care.
