Lumenfall
“When the stars tired of holding themselves up, she caught them in her thread.”
In the high room of the Tower of Stars, they say a seamstress once worked by moonlight — her hands moving through silence as though it were fabric. Lumenfall is what remains of her craft.
Made from fragments of discarded sarees, once too brash to be loved, this corset-bustier has been reborn through mending. The silk patches were washed, dyed, and restitched by hand; dull rhinestones replaced with new glimmers; rough seams hidden beneath a constellation of embroidery threads in gold, violet, and indigo.
The result is a piece that shimmers like night sky seen through tears — imperfect, luminous, alive. Its curved cups cradle the bust like crescent moons, while the structure beneath offers quiet strength.
Every stitch is a small act of devotion: an offering to the idea that beauty need not begin pure — it can be reclaimed, remade, and radiant still.
One-of-a-kind. Handmade in the Fae Skin atelier from recycled saree silk and embroidery scraps.
