Amberhush
“In the Gilt Room, they said her voice could light a candle from across the hall.”
Amberhush began as a vintage silk obi — a kimono sash woven with gold threads that had dulled beautifully over time. The fabric had a soft, candlelit glow that I didn’t want to lose, so I reinforced each panel by hand before cutting, keeping its gentle texture intact.
She’s built for structure and softness in equal measure. The boning follows the curves naturally, offering support without stiffness. Inside, she’s lined in breathable cotton and finished with clean, sturdy binding — the kind of finish meant to last.
Amberhush feels timeless in that way old materials sometimes do when you give them new purpose — grounded, steady, quietly glowing.
STRUCTURE
Made entirely from repurposed Japanese silk, with salvaged lace and a sliver of gold cheongsam along the bottom hem. Fully boned for comfort, made to lift the chest and cinch the waist. Lined with silk for stucture.
SIZE
She’s most at home on bodies sized S.
