Vintage upholstery fabric in a complementary shade of green.

High standing collar, decorative frog closures, ivory trim, and beaded tassels at the centre front and back.
STRUCTURE
12-panel construction with internal boning. Shaped chest panels define a softly rounded bust line.

Sea-glass organza ties threaded through gold-tone grommets.

The Lantern Bridge District
The Lantern Bridge District occupies a network of narrow waterways, old buildings, and connecting bridges in the lower part of the City. Boats are moored along the canals, with access to several of the older streets and commercial quarters.
Tideblossom was recovered from one of these boats. No manifest, ownership record, or other documentation establishing how the garment came to be there was found at the time of recovery.
The garment's pale blue brocade is woven with gold metallic thread in a combination of floral motifs and traditional medallion patterns. The original textile has been retained throughout the shell. The vintage upholstery fabric used for the lining is of a contrasting green shade.
The high collar, frog closures, ivory trim, and beaded tassels remain intact. The tassels are positioned at the centre front and back, and appear to form part of the original construction.
No earlier name for the garment has been recovered. The designation Tideblossom was assigned during cataloguing.
