Measurements

 FOR FULL BODY CUSTOM PIECES

A Overbust

Measure around your chest, passing directly under your armpits and above the breasts. Keep the tape level and leave a little room for comfort: this is where a strapless neckline would sit.

B Bust

The circumference of the fullest part of your breasts, parallel to the floor, keeping the tape comfortably snug but not tight.

C Underbust

Measure around your ribcage, directly underneath your breasts. Keep the tape snug and horizontal.

D Waist

The circumference of your natural waist, where your body creases when you bend side to side. Breathe naturally and measure snugly but gently. This is the anchor point of your corset.

E High Hip

Measure around the upper part of your hips, crossing over the hip bones.

F Full Hip

Measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks.

G High Neck

Measure around the base of your neck, where a high collar would sit.

H Low Neck

Measure around the lower part of the neck, resting just above the collarbone.

I Center Front to Waist

Measure vertically from the hollow at the base of your neck down to your natural waistline.

J Waist to High Hip

Measure the vertical distance along your side from your waistline down to the top of your hip bone.

K High Hip to Perineum

Measure vertically from the high hip line down to the crotch level.

L Upper Shoulder to Overbust

The length from the upper part of your shoulder (at the end of your collar bone) to your overbust line, following the curve of your body.

M Side Torso Length

Measure vertically along your side from the armpit (where a strapless neckline would sit) down to the waistline.

N Inseam

Measure from the lowest point of the crotch down the inside of the leg to the floor.

O Waist to Floor

Measure from your natural waistline down the outside of your leg straight to the floor.

P Upper Arm

Measure around the thickest part of your bicep with your arm relaxed at your side.

Q Wrist

Measure around the narrowest part of your wrist, just above the hand.

R Upper Arm to Wrist

Measure from the top of the bicep down to the wrist bone, along the outside of your arm.

Pro-Tips for Accurate Measurements

  • For the best results, have someone else take your measurements.
  • Take measurements while wearing only undergarments or very thin, form-fitting clothing (like leggings).
  • Measure on an empty belly and while breathing normally, just after exhaling.
  • The tape should be snug but not tight.
  • Stand up straight with your feet together. Don't slouch.
  • Tie a piece of string or elastic around your natural waist. This helps as a fixed reference point for vertical measurements like 'Waist to Floor.'
  • If you're measuring yourself, stand in front of a full-length mirror to ensure the tape is level and hasn't slipped in the back.
